Hello Sir.I am 43 years male working executive.I have been suffering from pain and burning sensation around the anus(exterior)from July,2012.Allopathy Doctor had diagnosid it as "Chronic Posterior fissure".I have cut mark and bowel/swelling(recently develpoed) in an around exterior part of my anus.As advised by Doctor,I have been taking isabgol(5 tsp in half lit water),cremmaffin(2-3 tsp as per requirement once in bed time) as stool softener,metrogyl-P oinment in the affected part,Lox-@% Jelly before stool passing.Had taken antibiotics for one week. Also as advised,I have been taking 3-4 lits of water every day, vegetables and salads, completely avoided spicy and non-veg food.I got cured to some extent.Recently(5 days back) I have started Ayurvedic medication suggested by Doctor as Divya Arshakalpa Vati(2 tabsX2 times in empty stomach),Divya Udramrit Vati(2tabsx2 times after meal),Divya Abhyarista(2 tspx2times after meal),Application of Divya Kayakalpa Taila mixed with pinch of Sphotik vasma after passing and cleaning sttol with lukewarm water,2tsp isabgol in 100ml lukewarm water, avoiding non-veg and spicy food etc.But still, after passing stool,I am suffering severe burning sensation along with mild to severe pain after passing stool.I am strictly following all the suugestions. In addition to this,I am also continuing cremaffin(2 to 3 tsp in bed time)as stool softener as a measure to avoid any chance of constipation. For this pain,I am compelled to take pain killer like bruffin/combiflame and also applying metrogyl-P oinment. Also I am regularly applying Lox 2 Jelly before passing stool.Consuming water, vegeterian food and avoiding spicy food continued. No relief.Life becomes miserable.I have also hypertension and taking allopathy tablet daily. Pls suggest for continuation of present style medication or any alteration/modification or some medication for permanent cure.

Ayurvedic Medicine

Acute fissures always responds better to the medicines. Chronic fissures take time and along with medicine and life style changes it can be managed. But care must be taken to avoid further tear or spasm in the muscles.

You can take medicines like Agastya Rasayanam + Mahatiktaka ghrtam - 1tsp before food morning and night, Kaisora guggulu along with Abaya aristam. Wash with water boiled in Triphala powder and made warm, then apply Mahatiktaka ghrtam.Try to take tub bath with warm water which will improve the circulation, reduce the spasm and quickens healing.

Along with that, eat healthy food with more vegetables. Eat less with more frequencies. Include fiber, complex carbohydrates, prunes, figs, raisins. Drink enough water. Avoid constipation. Regular exercises or Yogasanas like Vajrasana, Pavanamuktasana, Paschimottasana, Padahastasana and Dhanurasana to improve the peristaltic movements.

You must have regular checkups to assess the progress and if needs further modern treatments.
