Ayurvedic medicines like Divya Dashmool kvath, Mahatiktaka ghrit - 1tsp before food twice daily and Satavari lehyam - 1tsp after food twice daily can be taken. Elemine Cream can be applied externally.

Include olive oil, avocados, berries, turmeric, garlic, bitter gourd, drumstick, greens, mung dal, snake gourd, bottle gourd and ginger. Hello, Hormonal changes infemales cause dryness of skin which leads to cracked fingertip. Vata dosha imbalance also leads to cracked fingertip. Domestic work with harmful chemicals or soaps add on to cause more wear and tear. Ayurveda categorize it under kshudra roga that is minor health diseases. Dryness followed by flaky skin patches are some of symptoms. Pitta imbalance causes the burning sensation to the same along with redness. Ayurvedic recommendations are as follows- -Jatyadi oil- for local application twice a day or after every wash. It moisturize the skin and acts as antiseptic ointment also. -neem oil can also be applied locally mixed with sandal wood powder. -3 tablespoon of ghee with turmeric powder should be taken and applied to local area at bedtime. Precautions include avoidance of exposure of affected area to detergents or soap for long time and application of medicated oil immediately after exposure. Luke warm fomentation should be taken before application followed by regular exfoliation of the local skin.
