With your TSH value, it was high compared to the normal range and is being normal now. It means Hypothyroidism and in that you normally tend to gain weight. But may be with the medicines or your body nature or your life style habits would have caused a change. Try to find out your BMI and manage to have it below 24 or above 19.

Albosang contains Aswagandha, Calcium, Magnesium which can improve your metabolism and weight. It will not affect your thyroid condition. You can also take Aswagandha churnam - 1tsp with milk at bedtime after food for 3months.

Eat healthy and try to watch over your weight as Hypothyroidism tends to increase it. Include Iodine rich foods like fish, sea weeds, iodised salt, garlic, nuts, drumstick leaves. Reduce soya, raddish, cabbage, turnip, peaches, millet, mustard greens which reduce the absorption of thyroxine. Yogasanas like sarvangasana, halasana, matsyasana, sirsasana helps to increase the secretion of thyroxine. Please continue with your medicine and have regular checkups.

Hello,

From the value of tsh mentioned here it is seen to be a case of hypothyroidism. In this condition weight gain is naturally observed.

Albosang is a medicine which primarily acts on digestive system and provides nutrition to the body. It will not help in increasing mass. However at this stage i will not recommend you to consume this medicine as hypothyroidism will cause an increase in weight which needs to be reduced.

Albosang is a herbo mineral combination. It is a potent medicine and thus one should have dosage only as recommended by the physician and shall not be taken in self. This is because excessive dosage can be fatal to the body and can cause hazardous effects as well.

As far as thyroid disorder is concerned, you can go for the following ayurvedic remedies along with the allopathic ones.

  • Kanchanara guggulu - This ayurvedic medicine shall be taken at a dosage of 2 tab three times a day . It shall preferably be taken after food along with the below said medicine.

  • Shigru patra kwatha - This medicine shall be taken at a dosage of 60 ml three times a day. It shall be taken before food as well.

Hello,

Triphala choorna when taken with medohara guggulu is meant for weight loss. It is not seen to be helpful in weight gain.

Here if you want to go for weight gain, you can consume Aja mamsa rasayana . This medicine is available in the form of medicated ghee. It shall be taken at a dosage of 1 tsp at night after food. Follow this for upto 3 months. This shall be coupled with chyawana prash as well. Chyawana prash available in the form herbal jam shall be taken at a dosage of 1 tsp at morning after food.

As far as thyroid disorder is concerned, i want you to consume following medicines along with thyronorm for the best result.

  1. Kanchanara guggulu - This medicine shall be taken ata dosage of 2 tab twice daily after food along with below said decoction.

  2. Shigru patra kwatha - This medicine shall be taken at a dosage of 60 ml three times a day. It is prepared from dry leaves of moringa oliefera and can be made at home.

Hello,

Yes, currently the recent research work has shown that Triphala is having anticancerous action. This is a real hope for all of us.

In all classical texts, triphala is called as "Chakshushya". This means that this medicine is typically meant for treating all eye diseases. It is also told in one context that Amalaki which is one of the 3 contents in Triphala is found to be anti oxidant where it purifies the body. If amalaki alone is taken as food for months, then that person would live for thousands of years free of disease as per "Charaka" acharya. The dose of triphala is 1 tsp if in powder form can be mixed with honey and taken 2 times after food in morning and at night.
