Excessive sweating and rashes this question feed

Dear Sir,

I am suffering from excessive sweating which has started causing burning rashes in the lower portion. It feels like the skin is peeling off along with clothes. I am 55 yrs old female and overweight. Feel hot all the time. Have a weakness for sweet and curd. Have neural pain in the lower body.

Please help.

Excessive sweating as with your age suggests the symptoms of perimenopause. The skin problems arise when the skin is affected due to the lower levels of harmone like oestrogen and progesterone. Some of them experience excessive sweating, hot flushes, tiredness and depressed mood changes. When the pitta dosha is more, it causes rashes and burning sensation in the skin. Ayurvedic medicines that reduce Pitta will be beneficial to reduce the rashes also.

Medicines like Guduci padmakadi kwath -15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Evanova capsules and Drakshaavaleha can be taken for a month and reviewed.

Include fenu greek, cucumber, bottle gourd, turmeric, gooseberry, cinnamon, bitter gourd, and drum stick. Reduce excess caffeine, dairy products, salt, refined flour, oil, sugar and carbonated beverages. Yogasanas, exercise, drinking enough water, regular bowel movements, good sleep and pranyamam like sheetali, shitkari and bhramari will be beneficial.

Thanks a lot for your answers. I had menopause almost 10 years ago. So I guess it is pitta dosha. I tried to buy Guduchi padmakadi kwath but I could not find this medicine online. Where can i buy this? Or should I just use Guduchi powder?

Hello, The symptoms explained refers to perimenopause symptoms. Your mentrual history is required for further evaluation. If You are facing your menopausal phase the raised pitta dosha in body causes the excessive sweating, mood swings, hot flushes, gastric and intestinal issues and other hormonal changes. Active lifestyle involving yogic exercises like dhanurasan, gomukhasan, sarvangasan, savasan along with pranayam like bhastrika, bhramri and anulom vilom are highly advised. Following medicines should be taken if altered menstrual cycle is there- 1. Pushyanuga churan- 1 tablespoon twice a day after meals with luke warm water. 2.Ashokaristha-30ml in equal amount of water after meals twice a day. 3.Balaristha-30ml in equal amount of water after meals thrice a day to improve neural stregth. 4.Kamdusha ras-250mh with luke warm water before meals with luke warm water. 5.naryani oil-local application to strengthen the muscles and reduce the neural pain In panchkarma basti with balaristha should be given to nourish the genital organs.
