Taking Ayurvedic medicines like Gandharvahastadi kvath - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Kaisora guggulu and Triphala Churna will help to heal the fissure faster after surgery.

Try to sit is warm water tub for 15minutes after going to the toilet and pat the area to dry. Try to place your feet in a stool while sitting in the toilet as it will be similar to a squatting position enabling easy bowel movements.

Include flax seeds, raisins, prunes, figs, yam, small onions, fiber, mung dal and complex carbohydrates. Reduce excess spicy foods, salt, sugar, oil, carbonated beverages and canned foods.
