Bipolar disorder is a lifetime problem which has to be managed effectively to control the symptoms. There may be flareup of symptoms but are managed with regular checkups and medications. Your son can continue the tablet Dicorex which is usually prescribed for bipolar disorder. It helps to control the improper nerve impulses in the brain. He can take Ayurvedic medicines and the dosage of Dicorex can be adjusted based on the symptoms. It has to be treated when the symptoms like insomnia, depression, difficult to do things and strong mood changes are seen.
