Irregular periods is commonly seen in PCOD, anemia, thyroid complaints and extreme weight loss due to the imbalance of the harmones. So it is necessary to find the cause of oligomenorrhoea. As long as the periods come regularly, it indicates a healthy reproductive system. It can be improved by following healthy life style changes.

Asoka aristam is usually advised in excessive bleeding due to its cold potency and bitter, astringent taste.

You can stop taking Asokaaristam and can continue Divya Rajahpravartani Vati and Divya Stri RasayanVati.

Saptasara kvath - 15ml with 60ml of boiled and warm water before food twice daily can be taken for a month and then reviewed. It contains varshabhu, kulatha, erandam, bilva, sahachara, shunti and agnimantha which will help to stimulate the periods.

Include curry leaf, sesame, garlic, pepper, pine apple, horsegram, papaya, black gram and grapes. Avoid excess sugar, salt and oil. Yogasanas like Dhanurasana, Uthithapadasana, Utkadasna, Paschimottasana, Padahastasana, Bhujangasana, Gomukhasana, Janushirasana and Trikonasana are beneficial.

Hello Madam,

The following medicines which you are currently taking Stri Rasayana Vati, Rajahpravartani Vati, and Ashokaristha for possible menstrual irregularities and PCOS are having many other indications too. For PCOD, if there are associated problems like irregular menstruation, obesity, or weight gain, unwanted hair and even hypothyroidism, then additional to these medicines, you may need to consume other medicines like Kanchanara Guggulu and Medohar Vati which are helpful in correcting ovulation and helps to reduce size and number of poly cysts in ovaries.

As you are having scanty flow, it is better to avoid Ashokaristha during periods and you can take this as general tonic with 20 ml once daily after food apart from periods time. Even you need to stop Rajahpravartani Vati while on periods.

Diet wise, you can use all types of food but less sour food items and before periods, you can take well balanced and iron rich green leafy vegetables and food items which are helpful for you while on periods.

Except in periods time, you can even try practice Yoga and Pranayama like Setubandasana, Baddakonasana, Shalabasana, Matsyasana, Surya Namaskara, Sarvangasana are recommended in your case.
