Identifying Myopia at an early age will help to control the progression of the power. There will be a slight reduction in some of them. Though heredity is considered the main cause, it is not the single cause. Please let me know the power, the name of the medicines and the duration your child has been using to guide you further. The medicines are used to prevent the progression of the eyes which will help to maintain the power and reduce the need for thick glasses due to high power. This ultimately increases the risks like cataract or other eyes diseases as the child grows in later years.

Divya MahaTriphala Ghrit is generally advised.

Include spinach, broccoli, gooseberry, brussel, oranges, sardines, nuts, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, red bell peppers, cabbage and carrots. Reduce excess canned foods, oil, sugar and salt. Try to do some basic eye exercises like closing, opening, nose gazing, palming, rotating the eyeballs, looking up and down. Playing outdoor with natural sunlight will be beneficial for the eyes and also for a better health. And you must be aware that there is no cure for Myopia. The power usually progresses in the teen years and slows down after that.
