Hello,Any blood clot causes the neural suppression at the region thereby leading to decreased oxygen supply to region causing muscular wasting andweakness.Ayurveda includes it as vatik diseases where the vitiation ofvata dosha in body prohibit the proper dosha circulation. Ayurvedic medicines recommended are as follows-1.Vasant kusmakar ras- 2 tablet twice a day after meals with luke warm water2.Gunja tail-local application should be done twice a day3.Maha vaata vidhwansan ras- 2 tablet twice a day after meals with luke warm water4.Dashmoolaristha- 30ml in equal amount of water twice a day after meals.5.Sukumar guggul rasayana- 125mg with luke warm water twice a day after meals. In panchkarma, swedan followed by snehan kriya with mahanarayani tail should be done to strengthen the musclesAnuvasana and asthapana basti with ashwagandha kwath and ksheerbala oil should be administered alternatively to reduce the vata levels.Yogic exercises like surya namaskar, pawanmuktasan, paschimottanasana, virasana, bhujanasana can also be practiced according to the strength.along withnadi shodana pranayama, bhramari pranayama and anuloma pranayama to improve the oxygenation of body.

Paralysis has occured due to the infarct which caused lack of oxygen to the bloodcells. Based on the location, it will affect including the facial muscles. The clot would have disppeared with the medications. Please continue with the medications prescribed by your doctor.

Medicines like1. Guggulu tiktaka kasayam - 15ml with 60ml of water before food twice daily2. Yoga raja guggulu - 1 tablet thrice daily after food.3. Dhanvantaram thailam for massage are effective.

Panchakarma treatments like oil massages, pizhichal, fomentations help to recover well which can be taken in a nearest Ayurvedic hospital.

Eat healthy food with more vegetables and fruits. Include foods that naturally thin the blood like garlic, onion, olive oil, curry powder, ginger, cinnamon, vinegar, fish and if he does not have diabetes prunes, dates, raisins, berries and oranges can be included.

Control and check for diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol. Exercise is very good which helps to improve circulation and thereby helps in preventing the formation of further clots. Regular check ups and family support will help to recover quickly.

Hello,As your brother in-law has suffered from paralysis attacked where according to you the clot has disappeared, that shows he is out of danger, however the present complaints of him is probably with movements or immobility with pain factor which can be easily managed with ayurveda and other alternative treatments. If can continue physiotherapy, that is well and good and slowly if he can pickup with yoga and pranayama, that will boost his confidence. The root cause of paralysis also can be treated, maybe if he is having dyslipedimia issues or hypertension related issues, that can be treated accordingly with medications and other therapies such as external oil massage and medicated herbal steam.

You can ask him to consume the following medicines that help to regularize his health condition such as Paralysis Package Medicine that contains composite medicines that will help him to maintain and improve circulatory system functioning, however, depending up on the severity of condition, you can visit an ayurvedic doctor once nearby you and get appropriate solutions for the same. You can avoid oily foods, spicy foods, and non-vegetarian foods while having medications and even it is good for maintaining your health.
