PCOD normally causes weight gain due to insulin resistance, harmonal imbalance. But there is also a possibility to be underweight. In your case your BMI is 18, so you have to improve your weight. But in both cases, insulin resistance, high testosterone, high insulin will be present. So eating the right food with the proper exercise will help you to conceive again.

You can continue the medicines like chrominac which is a chromium supplement, glyciphage which you are taking.

Regarding your abortion, please let me know whether you did any tests to find out the cause of abortion?

Medicines like Sukumara kasayam - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Divya Rajahpravartani Vati, Divya Fal ghratam can be continued for 3months and then reviewed. Divya Fal ghrtam can be continued after pregnant also, to reduce the chance of abortion.

Eat healthy food with more ghee, milk, avocados, olive oil, banana, meat soup, dates, sesame seeds, papaya, garlic, pepper. Avoid fried fatty unhealthy junk foods. You can do exercises like walking or Yogasanas like Padahastasana, Janushirasana, Matsyasana, Bhujangasana, Gomukhasana, Dhanurasana, Uthithapadasana, Utkadasna, Paschimottasana to stimulate the uterus. It will help to improve the metabolism which will increase the muscle mass.

Hello,

Poly cystic ovarian disease or PCOD is a common condition these days and it is mainly affected due to hormonal imbalance. Women reproductive system works exactly under the guidance of certain pituitary hormonal impulses. When this is upset you will develop changes or even absence in menstrual bleeding.

Basically in most of cases it is shown that insulin resistance causes PCOD as there are too much unused glucose in your system and against this ovary produces male hormones like testosterones which upsets the entire rhythm in the cycle. And so there won’t be ovulation which is a crucial stage for ladies who are anxious for conception. Thus there will be multiple immature follicles and forms cysts. These gets worsened by stress as well.

So being stress free and relaxed is the first line of treatment. Stress of not conceiving itself is a stress to system which pauses the reproductive normal functioning. And you should follow a diet as that of a diabetic patient with very limited sugar or sweet items, junk food, carbonated drinks etc .

It is mandatory to have some sort of exercises in the form of yoga will be very useful like pavanamuktasan, vajrasan, surya namaskar etc. And once the hormones gets disordered it takes little time to come back so you will have to patiently wait for 5 to 8 months for the periods to become normal and to have a natural ovulation. Then there will higher chances for conception.

You can have medicines

sukumaram kashayam 15 ml +60 ml luke warm water twice daily before food and M2 tone tablets 2 tab twice after food.

Hello,

Currently you seem to be underweight and thus i would suggest you not to go for yoga. You have to follow a change in your diet and consume medicine as to get your menstrual cycle back to normal level.

Here are a few of my suggestions.

  • Ashokarishta - This is a classical ayurvedic medicine which is available as a fermented product. It shall be taken at a dosage of 30 ml three times a day. It shall preferably be taken after food.

  • Jeerakarishta - This medicine when taken along with ashokarishta is a powerful uterine cleanser. It easily resolves most of the issues in the uterine system. It shall be taken at a dosage of 30 ml three times a day mixed with ashokarishta.

  • Kalyanaka ghritha - This is a classical ayurvedic medicine which is available as medicated ghee. It shall be taken at a dosage of 1 tsp twice daily. It shall preferably be taken after food.

  • Consume good quantity of water everyday. Include mutton and its soup in your diet as it will help nourish your tissues and put you back to normal weight. Consume food which is rich in fiber content as well.
